"A House, A House"

(not our actual house)

Last Saturday Kurt and I had dinner at his parents house, and after many months of waiting we finally found out that his parents are going to sell us Kurt's grandma's house. We are so excited and can't wait. This July we will be able to move and finally have our own house. My mom has already started saving boxes and here before too long I will have to start packing up the apartment and getting ready to move. I know that kitty will love moving, there will be so many more rooms for her to explore. I am so excited to paint and decorate and finally have a house. Now if anyone is looking for something to do this summer feel free to give me a call, we can always extra hands to help with the move, after all many hands make light work!!!

"The Birthday Party"

Tuesday night, January 20th, was my nephew Carter's 2nd birthday! His favorite present was his battery powered John Deere tractor that is mom and dad got him. Lucky for his daddy it came in pieces. My brother had lots of help putting the tractor together, Uncle Gopher and Cousin Tim were lots of help. Once the tractor was together all Carter wanted to do was put things in the bucket and then dump them out. After about a 1/2 hour Carter became brave enough to push the petal and drive the tractor. As soon as I can figure out how to turn the video the right way I will post it so you can see Carter terrorizing everyone on his new toy.

"Our first Doctor visit!"

Well after a very busy Christmas we are starting to settle back into our routine. Unfortunately our routine started off with a visit to the vet's office. We have had kitty for about a year and half now and we have yet to take her to the vet but today was the day. After a brief struggle to get her into her cat carrier we headed off to the vet's office. Weiser was very well behaved until it was time to be examined by the doctor. Weiser started hissing and growling at the doctor, and she didn't like her shots at all, too bad we have to go back in a month for another round of shots. On top of everything else kitty is trying to make me feel guilty by laying around all mopey looking. This is all kitty has been doing since we got back at 10:30 this morning. I thought kids were the only ones who got sick after having shots, apparently kitty's do to. Our final goal is to be able to get kitty spayed in February to put a stop to her being in heat every month. I'll be sure to let you know how that goes.

"Who would have thought?!"

This should have been posted yesterday but I didn't think of it until later. Yesterday, Wednesday, December 10th, was 5 years since Kurt and I first met on that fateful night at the Marble Hill Inn in Sherrill. My cousin Danielle dragged me there to hang out with her and some of her friends from work. Little did I know that the guy in the gray sweatshirt and red Budweiser hat was my future husband. We started talking that night, he asked for my phone number and low and behold just 5 short years later we are married, and to celebrate that fateful night we did what so many married couples do had dinner, watch tv and then went to bed to we could get up and go to work today.
Fun huh? Hopefully we can think of a more exciting way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. hehe.

About Me

Kurt and I met a little over 4 years ago at a bar in Sherrill. I thought Kurt was soo cute. We started talking, he asked for my phone number, and we have been together ever since. Kurt and I were married on June 28, 2008. The wedding was beautiful despite the lose of power and the possibility of not having a reception. Luckily for us, everything went perfectly and we had the best day ever and all of our family and friends were there to share this special day with us.
